I've been reading all around and still don't have clarity as to how to configure my RAM sticks in their slots. My confusion is because posters don't distinguish how the RAM slots are ordered/numbered.

System has 4 slots for RAM, should be able to take up to 16 GB as shown in diagrams in the above manual. I'm trying to remove the existing 1 GB RAM in 2 slots and install 2 GB modules in each slot for a total of 8 GB.
